This was the most interesting period in the polls history!  From the time this period started on May 1 and through July 3, Flo did not receive a single vote, which allowed Ms. Liberty to retake the lead by a couple of votes while TamaraConda drew to within just a few votes of Flo. But on July 4th; which happened to be Ms.Liberty's birthday; Flo's fans (in apparently more than a coincidence), cast a flurry of votes for her, allowing her to retake her commanding lead. Even more shocking was that each and every spiteful vote cast for Flo was done via Ms. Liberty's home page! From July 5 through July 31 however, Ms. Liberty's dedicated and loyal fans continued to vote for her every day, bringing her closer to Flo's totals although in the end, the full-figured veteran was unable to overtake her svelte rival. Meanwhile TamaraConda's loyal fan base also continued a less impressive, sporadic stream of votes for her to keep her firmly in third place at the end of the period.

 

So with a championship match between Ms. Liberty and Flo coming soon, Flo remains the leader in popularity with 36% of the votes, a drop from last period but still in the lead. Ms. Liberty meanwhile gained some ground by achieving 34%, an increase over her 30.7% last period while TamaraConda languished in last place at 30%, about the same as during last period.

 

Can Ms. Liberty and her loyal fans continue the slow and steady climb up the rankings or will Flo's fans awaken once again to propel her back to her dominant lead? And will TamaraConda ever ignite her fan base enough to move her out of the basement!
