The past 2 months were a very interesting period in the voting with some unprecedented swings in popularity during this period!
For the first 3 weeks of March, Flo did not receive a single vote, which allowed Ms. Liberty's loyal fans with their slow and steady stream of votes to propel her to within 1 percentage point of Flo. But it wasn't all good news for the mature veteran as TamaraConda's popularity continued to improve at an even faster pace during this period, thrusting her up the ranks to achieve a short term, virtual tie with Ms. Liberty for second place! But with all 3 women neck-and-neck at the halfway point of this voting period, as Springtime arrived, things quickly changed!
Flo's fans returned to expressing their adoration for her with a vengeance and as the voting for this period came to a close, her surging popularity improved once again to keep her safely at the top of the popularity poll with a dominant 39% of the votes. Impressively, those votes came in bundles and were cast by voters from literally all around the world! And in an apparently coordinated and seemingly spiteful effort, most of the votes from Flo's fans were actually cast from Ms. Liberty's home page !
Conversely, Ms. Liberty's short-term resurgence in popularity in the beginning of this period was short-lived since, at the close of voting on May 1, her popularity fell once again. Her more geographically-concentrated and smaller contingent of fans with their consistent daily votes were not enough to stop her ongoing slide as her popularity fell more than another percentage point to only 30.7% of the votes. So with both of her opponents having a broader and more diverse fan base, the woman who has been the most popular wrestler for the first several years of this poll is now at risk of becoming the least popular for the first time!
TamaraConda meanwhile also lost ground to Flo but drew closer than ever to Ms. Liberty, remaining right on her heels at 30.3% of the votes. Her fan base is not as large nor as global as Flo's but they are more geographically diverse than Ms. Liberty's fans and their loyalty has brought her to within just 0.04% of her patriotic American rival for second place.
